Division Teams: Students enjoyed manipulating the
photos of players on a team. They had to create fair teams with equal
numbers of players. The total number of players was the dividend and the
divisor was the number of players on the team. They moved their picture
cards and formed teams to find the quotients. It was another hands-on
opportunity to develop the concept of division as separating into equal
groups. They'll have a real-world application for this skill when forming
kickball teams at recess!
